CARA という新しいインスタ風プラットフォームが出たと聞きました。
So I heard that there is a new Insta-like platform called CARA out.
これは「アーティストによるアーティストのための」ソーシャルメディア兼ポートフォリオの場だそうです。どんなアカウントが許可されているのか気になります。企業が下した愚かな決断のせいでほとんどすべてを手放してしまったので、もっと良いプラットフォームを見つけようと一生懸命頑張っています。
It’s supposed to be a social media and portfolio place “for artists by artists”. I’m wondering what kind of accounts they allow on there. I’m trying so hard to find a better platform because I have left just about everything due to whatever stupid decisions the companies have made.
でも、ソーシャルメディアを続ける価値があるのかどうかも気になります。
But I’m also wondering if it’s worth it even to continue with social media.
これまでのところ、このブログにいるだけで心が安らぎます。好きなものを投稿でき、愚かな「いいね」やシェアを気にする必要がありません。ただ書き出して世に出すだけです。とにかく、写真を撮るよりも書くほうがずっと気持ちがいいです。
So far I have found some peace just existing on this blog. I can post whatever I want and not worry about stupid likes and shares. I just write to get things out there. It’s always felt better to write than try to take photos anyway.

That website sounds potentially interesting. I miss when websites just showed you stuff from the people you were following instead of random crap. lol. That’s why i like reading blogs!! I wish something like livejournal would come back. At least we have each other as old school blogging gals :D we gotta carry on the legacy of the original gals!!
i definitely think cara seems a nice alternative to other socials, but i am honestly picky about it. xD i wish there was another blog-style social site that i could frequent other than blogger. we should definitely keep blogging though!!! no matter how many social medias fall to the dark side!!! <3
OOh I miss livejournal!! It's technically still around but not nearly as active.
I liked old Instagram with the chronological timeline as well~ So much easier to keep up with the people you actually followed.
Blogs are still great too, in my opinion :) I like to read them!

@Luckie ooooh I would love to hear your thoughts on it! I haven’t even tried to sign up for it (＞人＜;) but yes I wish there were more blog style sites too
@Sparklewolfie LJ was one of my fave places to be. I was so sad to see it die as it has. Insta made one of the dumbest choices by not allowing us to see in chronological order. I don’t want to see crap I don’t care about.
