Recently, I've been getting magazines from different years and I've actually been getting inspired/influenced by some of the models. Now I will forever be the colorful oldschool but some days I want to do older banba or tsuyome. I'm not quite there yet so I'm still experimenting.

Here is the original inspiration for my make!

Unfortunately I do not have a strong enough blue for it to stand out like hers but I think it still came out pretty cute. And I think next time I will try my best to find shorter lashes to be closer to this look.

Hubs and I were going out for errands that day and decided to get some dinner from a Mexican take-out place we never tried before. I didn't have to dress this way but it's always fun to go out in full gal.

Hey all!

I finally started emptying out my closet and putting it on my old depop shop. It's a long process since I still have yet to take most of the pics. But thank you to those that already bought some stuff! I ship out at the beginning of the week since that's when Hubs can take me to the post office.

I don't know if it's just me but it seems like all the blogs that popped up during the pandemic and now even ones that have been around for years have died. When we had the mini oldschool boom, I was hoping that more bloggers would be popping up. Because what's more oldschool than blogging?

It was like they were here for a sec
. . .and just died off.

Blogging is my favorite and best outlet because it's my own space to post anything, writing and photos, without worrying about stupid algorhythm numbers. I don't have anyone else to compete with on a platform. I can just be entirely me. PLUS I can have themes. That's something I miss about the internet. Completely customizable spaces!

But anyway. . . while it does feel lonely out here, I'm going to keep blogging. Writing is good therapy for me and even if the post is short, I love blogging. Comment your thoughts on this and let's talk about it!

Looks like we're finally going out tomorrow!

We're going to visit a family friend and taking her to a small section in Vegas. It's a place I've been to before and I had a lot of fun. But it seems like a lot of the shops I remember have shut down with new ones replacing them. I'm a little sad because one of them was a Japanese snack and toy shop but I think they just relocated. So hoping to go there in the summer.

Hubs found out there is now a bubble tea place and bubble waffle! I don't know how they'll be but I'm super excited to try bubble waffles for the first time ever. Hopefully we will be able to check out everything!

Now I just gotta' find out what I'm gonna' wear. . .

On Sunday, we decided to do some shopping at our nearest Sam's Club for some goodies and some necessities. Hubs and I went in our own vehicle while mama went with her friend in another. It was a great idea so we could still do other things on our own. Like. . .

 Omg I just saw this trailer and I nearly screamed.

君に届け (Kimi Ni Todoke) is one of my all-time favorite romance shoujo series that actually made me cry. It had an anime, manga, light novels, a live action movie and now THIS NETFLIX SERIES. I am so beyond excited! Of course I'm expecting it to be a bit different considering that the series is originally from 2006. But as long as they get the true essence of it, it will be great!
