A couple of days ago, we decided to go out and run some errands. It's been a while since I left the house so of course I dressed up cute. I know I don't have to wear makeup but it made me feel good! Even my make came out really well!
Anyway, here is what I came up with!
Outer...Blue Moon Blue
Definitely feeling a lot more comfortable in Amekaji. Hoping that if I can finally get more income, I'll be able to find more off my wishlist. I should really make a post of that to keep record!
We decided to make a stop at the local Asian market to stock up on some goodies. I also wanted to try making okonomiyaki again, this time with the right flour. It didn't come out that great this time (I think I used too much cabbage in ratio to the batter) so I'll make a future post when it does work out.
Apparently this is White Yam!
If you haven't heard of White Rabbit candies, I suggest you go find some. A friend told me about it forever ago, I fell in love. It's a sweet milky taffy-like candy with a bunny mascot! Of course, I would love it. I also had no idea that it was made into a milk tea so I got one of the single cups to try!
Another small obsession I have is black sugar milk tea. Actually, I would say I love milk tea in general. It's always the version I get when I go to a café. Tiger Sugar is a Taiwanese brand that actually has some locations in NYC and it's really good! Just also found out that they sell these "kits" like the White Rabbit one.
This one is ready to drink and was delicious! I love the combination of caramelized sugar and condensed milk~
It's actually not that difficult to make these. This tall cup came out to be about 2 full cups of hot water! Other than the tea mix, it also came with nata de coco, red beans and condensed milk.
The correct way to make it is to put everything at the bottom of the cup and pour in while mixing the hot water till it's all combined. I'm not a fan of the red beans or coco so I left those out. But it was still delicious!
I'll show the rest of the goodies I got from this trip in my next post if anyone is interested!
