So it's been a week.
I'm so thankful I'm off at least for the weekend. I still have some Papillon🦋 work to do but at least I'm working at home. I had a rollercoaster of emotions and incidents as well. But, I made it through.
Have you ever had opposing forces from other people about what you do with your life? It really sucks. Especially when they know nothing about the subject or your life. And I'm extremely lucky to have the support I do. Because without them, I would be in a very bad place.
It's just amazing that people feel the need to make a commentary on just about anything that you never asked for their opinion. You can offer concrit or just generic help. But you don't have to be an ass about it.
So what do you do?
When I feel defeated or down and can't see the same friends, I take it upon myself to look up things that make me happy. I love watching videos of crafting or gal tutorials. Sometimes I'll play a video game. Or I just mess around on a Discord server. Sometimes it will just take a few minutes being online to help.
If I need a little pick me up, I will dress myself up a little. I'll throw on at least a cute top or do some makeup look that is a lot more colorful. Something to physically brighten me up. And sometimes it really helps!
These are just a few things that I do.
I feel so grateful that the people I care about will also remind me that things aren't always going to be bad. That what I'm going through will pass and I'll be able to smile again. It might take a little time but everyone does things at their own pace.
Because you know what?
I don't have time to let others affect my mental health. I have things to do and take care of. I get that my content is not very exciting or that I don't have fancy photoshoots. I don't live in an amazing house with a lavish lifestyle. I'm just a gal with different hobbies and a retail job. I'm doing what I can and that's what I aim to do until I can get that fancy and fun life.
So never give up. Because that will make you even more sad because you're no longer doing things you love. And that will allow the opposing force win. And we can't have that.
