✩21 I Made a Phone Case!✩

Hey Buns!
I'm super excited to share this with you today!

As a lot of you may know, I'm a fan of Pokemon. I have a lot of favorites and right now my current boom is Shiny Alolan Raichu. I have always loved the electric mice/small animal types but for some reason Alolan Raichu really captured my heart. Especially the shiny version.

Anyway, I have been trying to collect different things for it but I couldn't find a phone case that I loved. So I took it upon myself to put my graphic skills to the test again and design my own. Luckily, I have a bunch of screenshots from my own in-game baby, Choco Chip. Yes, that is her name.

Here are some works in progress.

I have to thank Darling for the suggestion of adding the white tummy detail. It completed the design for sure!

I was hoping to find some place to print it without having to order a bunch of them or put it up for sale. Just a one-of-a-kind case for myself. I finally found this site called CaseApp. It was pretty easy to use.

All you have to do is choose which type of device you're designing for and then choose the specific version. I was making it for my phone so I chose the iPhone!

They take most file formats. I made sure to have mine at 300dpi, just in case.

Then all you have to do is fit it on your case and purchase!

There was a note on the site that it could take up to 2 weeks but mine arrived pretty quickly! It was just a few days before it officially shipped. It was complete and at my door in less time!

I have to admit I was a little nervous. I never used the service before so I had no idea how good the quality was going to be. It arrived in a bubble mailer with the case itself in a microfiber bag designed with one of CaseApp's patterns. There was even a thank you card with the same pattern!

And finally, here is the case!

Isn't it adorable? I opted for the "tough" case because I want to make sure there is more protection than a regular hard case can give. The design is actually printed on the case and has a scratch resistant coating.

Overall, I think the print is actually great. It's clean, very clear and just as vibrant as my original. Using this site was actually the easiest for me and ended up being cheaper because shipping was free. A lot of other websites were annoying to place my design on and I couldn't tell if the image was going to print like the preview or be totally off. On the CaseApp site, the company states they use 4 color printing so prints will look as they should. Which I can confirm!

They make pretty amazing one-of-a-kind gifts! Let me know if you ever got a custom print before!

That is adorable!!!! I love Alolan Raichu too :3
I might have to consider to use that site since I seem to often get phones that do not have many case designs :o
